The Friends of the Hospital was established in 1986. Our ethos is to raise funds to promote comfort to patients and their families during their hospital journey.
While The Friends work in close association with hospital management and staff, we are a totally independent group.
We have an exceptional committee with an enormous drive and a hard work ethic and with every project we undertake, however big or small, we ensure that the needs of the patient are our priority.
Every single cent the Friends receive is spent on improving patient care, fundraising is a continuous process We are so appreciative of the support and generosity shown to the Friends not only from individuals, groups and organisations but also from donors throughout Offaly, Westmeath, Laois, Longford and abroad.
