Three New Rooms to provide
space for Family and Relatives
have been opened
- Three newly developed, family‑focused spaces in the hospital have been opened: the Ardan Bluebell Room, Pallas Bluebell Room, and the newly refurbished ICU Relatives’ Room.
- These rooms have been specifically designed to provide calm, private and dignified environments for patients and families. They provide a much-needed space on busy wards to support sensitive conversations, rest and overnight stays for patients' families.
- In addition, the Pallas Bluebell Room also incorporates dementia‑friendly design, creating a comforting space for patients who may find hospital admission disorientating.
- These rooms are so needed and will allow patients and their families some calm and privacy to have difficult conversations or simply to just be a space to be able to take a breath in the middle of a busy ward.
- They truly are amazing to have and will be very well used.
Well done to all involved!
